Marie Skłodowska-Curie ITN · Horizon 2020 (EU)

Collaborative Intelligence for Safety Critical Systems: an international training network (ITN) for a new generation of researchers in collaborative intelligence, at the crossroads of artificial intelligence, human factors, neuroergonomics and systems safety engineering. The project trained 14 PhD candidates in developing human-in-the-loop AI systems for safety-critical applications — from manufacturing to the IoT and critical infrastructure. ARIA contributed as associated partner.

EIT-FOOD · Crisis Response Initiative (EU)

A safer food-delivery service during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. ARIA developed HACCP procedures integrated with human factors and delivery conditions, together with a prototype tamper-proof box with a smart lock.

Innovation through Human Factors in Risk Analysis and Management

Integration of human and managerial factors and maintenance actions into traditional risk-analysis methodologies. ARIA hosted a researcher for three years, focused on human factors in ATEX procedures.
